Japanese food

Sushi is the Japanese food which is the most known in the world but the Japanese cuisine has much more to offer. Here are some Japanese dishes and food:

Udon (noodles)
Soba (noodles)
Tonkatsu (pork cutlet)
Ramen (a noodle soup)
Sashimi (thinly sliced, raw food)
Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers)
Tempura (deep fried seafood and vegetables)
Okonomiyaki (a kind of pancake where ingredients such as seafood, vegetables and meat are mixed into a batter and grilled). I have never eaten this but Iwould like to try it one day.
Bento (a box with small portions of meat, vegetables, fish, or pickles together with rice). There are both hot and cold Bento boxes. The Bento boxes are for one person.
Omuraisu (fried rice wrapped in a thin egg omelete)
Yakiniku (grilled meat)
Onigiri ("rise balls", made of cooked rice and wrapped in seaweed)
Miso soup (made by dissolving miso paste in fish stock). It's common that it includes wakame seaweed, small pieces of tofu, and sliced aburage
Tsukemono (Japanese pickles). They are served with every traditional meal alongside rice and Miso soup. I Don't like the taste of this.
Niku (meat)
Tori-niku (chicken)
Buta-niku (pork)
Sakana (fish)
Mizu (water)
Suupu (soup)
