What to buy in Japan

There are a lot of cute things, traditional thing and electronic things in Japan Tere are Japanese sweets to which you only can buy in Japan. Here are some things to buy:

sweets:
Tokyo Banana (soft and fluffy bananas with a soft banana tasting filling). If you like bananas you have to try this sweet. N.B.  You can only buy them in Tokyo

Dorayaki (a red bean paste which is sandwiched between two Japanese pancakes). It doesn't sound tasty I know but I ate some Dorayakis when I was in Japan in December 2016 and I kind of liked them. The pancakes taste like something between Swedish pancakes (the thinn ones, not the thick American pancakes) and bread and the red bean paste tastes like smashed beans and it tastes sweet at the same time, like if it's suger mixed with the smashed beans.

Daifuku (a rice cake with a smashed bean paste as a filling). I haven't tried one of these but I guess that the fiing tastes like the filling in the Dorayaki and you know rice. I don't think I have to tell you more.

Kitkat (the chocolate covered waffle which we have in Europe). But in Japan there are very many tastes: mocha, strawberry, white chocolate are some examples so if you like Kitkat you shall buy some tastes which you like of it.

Cute things:
In Japan there are a lot of cute things to buy such as:

Manga/anime figures
Key rings (there are a lot of stores in Japan in which you can buy cute key rings. In Souvenir shopps for example. Unfortunately they usually have a little jingle which I don't like as it's annoying to hear it but I found a lovley small monkey key ring which I bought.

Traditional things:
Yukata (mostly called "Kimono" as it looks exactly like a Kimono but the Yukata is made of cotton instead of silk which a kimono is made of. The Yukata is cooler and not as hot as a Kimono to wear during the summer.
Furoshiki (it looks like a piece of clothes but you can have it as a bag, clothes to wrap in presents with or other things.
Edo Kiriko glass (diffirent things which are made of coloured glass). This is very beautiful but expensive.
Wagasa (a traditional umbrella made of paper). You will have it when it's sunny outside.
Bangasa (the same as wagasa but you will have it when it's raining)
Kokeshi doll (a simple wooden doll without arms and legs, wearing a kimono which is painted on it so are the arms too). In my oppinion the Kokeshi dolls are very cute.
Sensu (fan)
chopsticks

Electronics:
basically the same things we can buy in the western countries
