There are a lot of cheap and beautiful things to buy in India. Go to the Bazaars in India. There you can buy carpets, traditional dresses, bags, sandals and knick-knacks. If you go to India which I really recommend you shall definitely buy these things:

Saree (the traditional Indian dres Saree is so beautiful. Did you know that a Sari is only a piece of cloth which is rather long and which you wind around you)

Bangles (many bracelets which you have on your arms. You buy a set of bangles and you get like 6 bracelets which match each other)

Bollywood movies ("Bollywood" is the Indian "Hollywood". The Bollywood movies are very long, usually 2-3 hours and there are happy with many colours and many songs and much music. )

Bollywood music (The soundtrack to the Bollywood movies is called "Bollywood music". The music is in Hindi and it sound's very special both the music and the songs. If you are not used to listen to Bollywood music it sounds very strange and the female voices sound horrible. But if you listen to it often anyway you not only get used to it but start like it too. Tere is often Bollywood music playing in the Indian restaurants at least in Sweden.  

Boxes (the small Indian boxes are very beautiful. Axtually I think everything wich is Indian-style is very beautiful)
